A Fatherless Generation

1 in 4 American children are growing up without a father figure in the household.

  • Many more are growing up with a father that is physically present, but mentally absent.

Studies have shown a present father has a huge impact on the mental and emotional health of both boys and girls. The lack of a present father is associated with:

  • 63% of teen suicides

  • 71% of teen pregnancies

  • 74% of school dropouts

  • 85% of child behavioral disorders

  • 85% of youth in prison

  • 90% of children experiencing homelessness/ runaway children

Social Media Overload

The average Gen-Z'er spends up to 9 hours "online" everyday.

  • Social media and entertainment platforms tell them who they should be or what they have to do to in order to become "successful." This phenomenon encourages our youth to:

    • Pretend to be something they are not and develop a false sense of self

    • Lose personal relationships and have superficial relationships

    • Isolate themselves from the real world around them
